If you’re younger than 28 years old and interested in culture and art then next week is bound to be really good.

On the occasion of the country-wide initiative K7, everyone in the age group 18-27 years old is invited to visit museums, art halls and experience centers for free.  This includes more than 160 places in Denmark.

From the 12th of September to the 18th of September, you can bring along all your friends in the abovementioned age category and get a solid cultural experience. As something new this year, you’re able to attend the theater for a great price.

If you’re between 18 and 25 years old, you’re able to purchase theater tickets for just 40 kroner at 15 different theatrs.

In Aalborg this includes Kunsten, Teater Nordkraft and the Utzon Center that offer free entrance. In the rest of Northern Jutland, you can visit Kystmuseet Skagen, Frederikshavn Kunstmuseum, and Vendsyssel Theater.

Exhibits for everyone

The campaign is meant to make the exhibits more available and non-committal – also for people that do not normally peruse culture and art.

It’s Golden Days that’s behind the initiative, which was first launched in 2020.

What: Free access to more than 160 cultural places
Where: The whole country
When: September 12-18, 2022
Who: Everyone between the ages 17 and 27
