A dream for skaters: Huge skatepark has opened close to Aalborg

If you’re missing access to good skate facilities in Aalborg, you may have to start your car, hop on your bike or bring out the bus schedule.

In Vester Hassing, a 15-minute drive from Aalborg, a 750 square meter skate park opened this weekend.

The official opening of the park took place last Saturday, April 15th.

“Come and meet us at the skate club and try our new track.

Feel free to bring your skateboard, scooter, roller skates or BMX,” the organizers say.

A local project group in Vester Hassing has raised 1.5 million kroner for the project.

In addition, local businesses have contributed workers and sponsorships.

There is now a new spot for you and other skaters to hang out and show around those new tricks you’ve been learning.
