A hit in many cities: Wok This Way finally opens in Aalborg

The anticipated opening is finally in motion. 

MyAalborg can reveal that Wok This Way has finally opened in Aalborg on Boulevarden 38. Their location was once home to the tapas restaurant Vino & Pintxos. 

”We are so proud of the reception we have had the first few days, and now we are looking forward to seeing a lot of guests, which we will bring joy with a lot of good food,” Abdul from Wok This Way tells MyAalborg.

Aalborg eagerly awaits

Wok This Way has taken Jutland by storm with its simple concept and focus on fresh ingredients, delicious homemade sauces, and great taste. 

They opened in Nørregade in Aarhus back in 2018 and grew as one of Denmark’s favorite wok-places. An outstanding achievement considering Aarhus is one of Denmark’s largest cities. They expanded into Vejle and Silkeborg, and now they have arrived in Aalborg.

“We are committed to delivering high-quality food, and there is no compromise on ingredients or cooking.

For example, we do not have an ordinary gas stove. Instead, we have a so-called Wok stove that allows us to cook at higher temperatures to achieve the perfect wok dish,” says Reinaldo.

Reinaldo explains the idea behind the concept Wok This Way as a sort of “advanced China box,” where you first choose the base, rice or noodles, and there is a variety of each.  

Next step, you choose among various vegetables and meat, such as chicken, shrimp, beef or tofu. As the final step, you select the type of homemade sauce – which may be difficult as they are tasty. 

“We have a lot of regular customers, and we can see in our system that once people try it then they come back for more. We are sure our concept will also be a hit here in Aalborg,” Reinaldo says.

Indeed Wok This Way is looking forward to showing Aalborg what they can make and deliver. They are now sending out deliveries via Wolt and Hungry.
