Aalborg Municipality: Retrieve your bike now or it will be removed

If you’re one of those who have a bike parked in a bike rack around the city, it’s time to take action.

Aalborg Bike City is currently cleaning up the bike racks in the city center and near the train stations, so now is the time to pay a visit to your old two-wheeler.

“Aalborg Bike City is currently going around and placing zip ties on the bikes parked on municipal property,” they write on Facebook.

Here’s how much time you have

If you need to retrieve your bike, you still have a few weeks.

“In four weeks, we will return and remove the bikes that are still untouched with zip ties,” they explain.

The plan behind the cleanup is to provide better space for the bikes that are being used, create a nicer city environment, and make it easier for everyone to get around the city.
