Great vibes coming up: Aalborg Regatta reveals first artist on stage

When late summer bids farewell to Aalborg, the Aalborg Regatta fills the waterfront with ships, maritime activities, and music.

And now the first musical acts have been revealed.

This was announced by Aalborg Events, the organizer behind Aalborg Regatta, in a press release.

North Jutland Vibes

Aalborg Regatta takes place from August 28th to 31st on the Aalborg waterfront.

In recent years, acts like Carpark North, Tina Dickow, and Zar Paulo have played at the event, and now this year’s first names are ready.

This year’s Thursday headliner is Allan Olsen & Nyt Norlan.

After many years of touring solo with just his songs and a guitar, the North Jutland troubadour formed a new band in 2024.

They named themselves Nyt Norlan. With electric arrangements of beloved songs from his back catalogue, the stage is set for true North Jutland sing-alongs and great vibes.

Cæcilie Norby and Ria Quist will take care of the warm-up.

Cæcilie Norby is one of Denmark’s most acclaimed vocalists. Since breaking through with Nina Forsberg as the frontwomen of OneTwo, she has been a constant presence on the Danish music scene.

In her solo career, jazz has played a major role, and on her latest album 60, she blends jazz with funk and pop.

Ria Quist didn’t just blow the audience away at Band Battle with beautiful, vulnerable vocals and a truly unique sound — they touched every heart in the room and won the competition convincingly.
