Win a Labubu: Nostalgic arcade hall has opened in Aalborg

A new little attraction has arrived at Aalborg Storcenter – and this time it’s not a shop, but a space that flashes, makes noise, and tempts visitors with plush toys, points, and quick wins.
On Nygade, Fun Zone Arcade has opened – a pop-up arcade hall that is already drawing in children, teenagers, and curious parents alike.
Here, the classic arcade vibe has been turned up, but in a modern version where everything is digital and there are no tokens rattling around in your pockets.
Win a Labubu
Behind the arcade is Gammelholm Games, which supplies gaming machines to, among others, Tivoli and a number of other amusement venues across the country.
With Fun Zone Arcade, they have brought the amusements right into everyday life – right in the middle of one of Aalborg’s most visited shopping areas.
Inside, there is something for everyone.
There are ball games where you can test your basketball shot and see how many baskets you can score against the clock.
There are digital gaming machines, classic arcade games – and then there is the big draw: a claw machine.
Here you can win the popular Labubus, which many children (and adults) already know … and actively go after.
Games from 10 DKK
All games are pay-to-play, and prices start from 10 DKK per game, depending on which machine you choose.
Everything is designed to be easy and accessible: cards, phones, and Apple Watch are accepted, and there are no tokens or cash involved.
Fun Zone Arcade is unmanned, making it easy to stop by spontaneously during the center’s entire opening hours.
And the timing is no coincidence.
According to Aalborg Storcenter, an arcade hall is a perfect extension of the new street, where several food venues have opened.
This way, children can let loose while parents eat or run errands in the center.
The pop-up has been signed for approximately one year, making it one of the longer pop-up contracts in the center.
And according to the shopping center, that is exactly what adds the extra life they want in Nygade.
