Finally here: This is the day Big Dollar store opens in Aalborg

A popular discount chain is soon coming to Aalborg.

A large Swedish chain with a concept similar to Flying Tiger and Normal has long dreamed of entering the Danish market.

Here in North Jutland, Dollar Store has already opened in Brønderslev under the name Big Dollar – due to naming rights.

Big Dollar is opening in City Syd at the address Tyren 4.

And now they can finally reveal when the grand opening will take place.

Opening this month

Big Dollar is already opening on April 30 at 9:00 AM. The chain announced the news in a post on LinkedIn.

“Big Dollar is Aalborg’s new destination for low prices every day. In our stores, you’ll find a wide range of non-food products.

Everything from clothing, home decor, toys, party supplies, pet items, and seasonal goods like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and garden products. You might even be lucky enough to find unexpected treasures you didn’t know you needed,” writes Peter Drustrup, who will be the store manager at Big Dollar, Aalborg.

Dollar Store is Sweden’s fastest-growing discount chain, and now they’re setting their sights on the Danish market in a big way.

Their product range includes items for the home, kitchen, and garden, as well as toys and Christmas decorations – all at budget-friendly prices.

So it’s no surprise that they’re starting in North Jutland – after all, it’s well known that we love a good bargain around here.
