Big news: The Script is coming to Aalborg in September

by Megan McPhee Christensen

In the summer of 2018, they were the headliner for Nibe Festival.

Back then, The Script, with their many big international hits, hit it out of the park at Skalskoven.

But now, Musikkens Hus has big news in store for us – they have managed to lock in the Irish pop-rock band, The Script, to play in Aalborg this September.

At the end of the ’00s and the start ’10s, The Script released one hit after another, filling concert halls and arenas all around the world with classics like “Hall of Fame”, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”, “Breakeven”, and “Superheroes”.
After more than 6 million streams, 10.8 million album sales, and 12 million monthly Spotify listeners, The Script released their 6th album titled ‘Sunsets & Full Moons’ in the autumn of 2019.

Tickets are on sale

Now The Script’s trio, consisting of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power, are coming to Denmark and visiting Musikkens Hus where the audience can look forward to raving about the pop-rock band’s impressive catalogue of hits – new and old.

Musikkens Hus tells us that tickets have been on sale since Friday, July 9, and are selling fast, but there are still a few up for grabs so get quick. See more info here.

Another international star also booked

That’s not the only internationally renowned music act that Musikkens Hus has booked.

The English soul singer Lianne La Havas is also coming to Musikkens Hus later this year.

She is responsible for hits like “Bittersweet”, “Paper Thin” and “Can’t Fight”, and this will be her first time in Aalborg. This concert takes place on September 6, 2021, and you can find more info right here.
