Major makeover: Bilka Skalborg to celebrate reopening after big upgrade
There will be high demand for coffee, croissants, and great deals when Bilka Skalborg opens its doors for a major reopening celebration on Friday, 1 May at 7:00 AM.
Following an extensive renovation, the hypermarket is ready to welcome customers back in a new and updated format.
And the occasion will be marked in style.
The first 100 customers can start their morning with free coffee and croissants, while competitions with attractive prizes are also planned. Among other things, visitors will have the chance to win a cargo bike filled with goods.
Explore the new makeover
Inside the store, customers can look forward to discovering several new areas.
These include new sections dedicated to world food, health products, home goods, and textiles.
At the same time, Bilka has expanded a solution that many North Jutland shoppers have already embraced.
The number of self-checkout stations has been increased from 11 to 15, making it even easier to get through quickly.
Children have not been forgotten in the celebrations either.
They will have the chance to meet Bilka’s mascot, Ulven Billie, along with his friend Kamille.
The first 100 children will receive a goodie bag, and on Friday between 16:00 and 18:00, they can try a special children’s self-checkout experience.
And the celebration does not stop on Friday.
The festivities continue through the weekend
Activities will continue throughout the weekend, with free morning coffee and croissants for the first 100 customers each day at 7:00 AM. There will also be tastings throughout the store on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Store manager Mark Jeppsen is looking forward to welcoming customers back:
