Brunch for 95 DKK and other big deals: You can’t miss the crazy Sunday at Bistro V

You may know Bistro V at Toldbods Plads for their delicious and French-inspired bistro dishes, but also for their exciting additions and concepts that go beyond the traditional.

It’s never boring at Bistro V, and certainly not on the last day of the week, which often gets too caught up in laundry and grocery shopping for the upcoming week.

At Bistro V, Sunday is an extraordinary day filled with great food and drinks at insane prices.

The concept is called nothing less than “Crazy Sunday,” and here’s why you should put aside your laundry and shopping list and instead head over for a cozy Sunday at Bistro V.

Brunch and Sunday roast

Spring is slowly starting to arrive – and of course, it should be celebrated with great food at good prices at Bistro V.

“Crazy Sunday is a concept that will run every Sunday this spring,” says the daily manager Daniel and restaurant manager Christian to MigogAalborg.

Every Sunday, you can enjoy brunch from 10 AM to 12 PM for just 95 DKK.

The delicious brunch includes everything your heart and stomach desire.

From chicken salad with mushrooms and bacon, smoked salmon with dill and fried capers, and warm potato tart with country ham, to West Coast cheese with olives and chocolate croissant.

Normally, the delicious brunch costs 155 DKK – so there’s money to be saved.

All you need to do is book a table either on the website or by calling the following number: 98 16 40 00

But it doesn’t stop here with the wild prices!

As part of the Crazy Sunday concept, the evening also offers Sunday Roast.

Here, you get a starter and main course for just 150 DKK.

“This is a concept we’ve been running for many years, where we create a completely special menu every Sunday that changes twice a year,” Daniel and Christian point out.

It’s also possible to upgrade to three courses, with the addition of a dessert, making the total 200 DKK.

But if you need to relax at home after a tough week – fear not!

You can get the same menu – but only the main course and dessert – as takeaway for just 115 DKK.

“These are crazy offers. That’s why the concept is called Crazy Sunday,” Daniel and Christian add.

Here’s the current menu for Sunday Roast:

Starter: Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with Croutons, Bacon, and Chives – a creamy and mild soup with a savory touch from the bacon and a fresh, herby flavor from the chives.

Main Course: Slow-Roasted Veal Coulotte with Mushrooms, Onions, French Fries, Salad, and Gravy – the veal will be tender and flavorful from slow roasting, complemented by the earthy taste of mushrooms and onions. The crispy fries and salad offer a nice texture balance.

Dessert: Panna Cotta with Blackberries and Vanilla – a smooth and creamy dessert, with the tartness of blackberries balancing the sweetness of the panna cotta, and the vanilla adding a warm, aromatic flavor.

Double up on beer and cocktails

Bistro V doesn’t just offer wild deals on Sundays.

You can also save money on drinks Friday and Saturday!

Every Friday and Saturday from 9 PM to midnight, you can get double the cocktails and beer.

You can choose from at least 10 different drinks on the cocktail menu for just 90 DKK for two.

Additionally, you can enjoy delicious handcrafted beer from Bryghuset Vendia for 70 DKK for two.

So, you can happily satisfy both your thirst and your desires!

Spring on the Terrace

Spring brings more than just birdsong and warmer temperatures.

It also means that Bistro V is busy preparing their terrace.

That means it won’t be long before you can enjoy delicious authentic French food and a glass of wine with a view over the Limfjord.

They say Aalborg is the Paris of the North, and if there’s one place in Aalborg that truly captures that Parisian vibe, it’s definitely Bistro V with their authentic food on their cozy terrace.

“We’re slowly getting ready for a great summer on the terrace,” Daniel and Christian conclude.
