Calling all Coldplay fans: Experience tribute concert and support a good cause

With more than 70 million sold albums and a catalogue full of massive radio hits, Coldplay no doubt takes the crown as one of the world’s most recognizable and popular bands.

Do you also think that the British rock band deserves a tribute night then you need to visit the local church Vor Frue Kirke on Thursday, March 1, at 19:30 where the tones of Coldplay’s legendary music fills the church hall.

It’s the tribute band A Rush of Coldplay who’s in charge of the music and with the following description it looks to be an amazing night:

“To recreate Coldplay’s expression requires a lot of hard work and not least musicians who can rise to the challenge. The four men in the Danish tribute band not only recreate Coldplay’s big sound but also their visual expression in order to get as close to the target as possible and satisfy even the most hardcore Coldplay-fans.”

Support a good cause

The concert is a part of a series of church concerts in Denmark that take place in 2022. All profits go to the organization Skyggebørn.

Skyggebørn helps children and young people who are in grief through discussion groups where they can put their feelings and thoughts into words. This can for example be children who have a lost a parent or another close relative but all types of grief and loss are worked on in safe groups.

It costs 205 kroner to attend the concert, and tickets can be purchased here. Since there are no assigned seats in the church, it’s on a first come, first served basis.
