55 Supercars: Cool Car Race returns to Aalborg

Lamborghini. Ferrari. Porsche. 55 extraordinary cars. 20,000 horsepower. And one shared goal: to create better everyday lives and meaningful experiences for children and young people in Denmark.

The nationally recognised charity event Cool Car Race is returning to the roads of North Jutland—this time with an official stop right outside Coolshop Megastore.

On Saturday, 16 May, from 14:00 to 15:30, a caravan of supercars will park at Coolshop Megastore in Nørresundby.

Festive atmosphere in Nørresundby

Coolshop will help create a lively atmosphere at the stop, featuring competitions, snacks, and plenty of opportunities to get up close to both the cars and the drivers.

AL Sydbank is also contributing to the day, bringing its own activities and competitions.

“It’s not just the cars that make Cool Car Race unique—it’s all the people who show up and demonstrate their willingness to contribute. That support means everything to us at CoolUnite and for the children we are here to help,” says Lea Kronborg, Head of Foundation at CoolUnite.

Cool Car Race is organised by the charity foundation CoolUnite, and each year the event raises millions for its work supporting seriously ill and vulnerable children in Denmark—through donations, sponsorships, and activities along the route.
