From Holland to Italy: European food market returns to Aalborg

Why travel out into Europe, when Europe can come to you?

You will at least have the opportunity to taste fantastic delicacies from the entire continent, when the European Street Market – as tradition goes – takes over Gammeltorv.

It happens from Tuesday, May 6 to and including Saturday, May 10.

“This exciting market will bring 16 stalls from different parts of Europe together and create an unforgettable atmosphere with life and market vibes, which we usually associate with southern countries,” says Aalborg City.

Taste all of Europe

The stalls represent countries like Holland, France, Germany, Italy and England – and their many different cultures and traditions.

So if you want to taste everything from Italian pesto, salami, cheese and chocolate, Dutch cheese, English fish & chips, German grilled food, Greek olives and nuts, English fudge and MUCH more – then you should mark a cross or two in your calendar.

You’ll also find French soap etc. at the market, says Aalborg City.
