Experience amazing supercars: ‘Cool Car Race’ returns to Aalborg

The annual Cool Car Race, which is the biggest gathering of supercars in Denmark, is kicking off in a few weeks.

If you’re into wild cars like Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and many other expensive car brands, it will be an amazing experience to see the cars up close at the Cool Car Race.

On June 3rd, car enthusiasts from Aalborg can once again look forward to witnessing over 20,000 horsepower in one spot at Musikkens Plads on the waterfront.

‘Cool Car Race’, which is organized by Coolshop and led by Jacob Risgaard, didn’t visit Aalborg last year.

But the cars are returning once again.

Biggest collection of supercars in Denmark

It will probably be the biggest assembly of supercars ever, and along the way, participants will raise millions of kroner through competitions, auctions, happenings, and more.

Over the years, more than eight million kroner has been raised and in 2022, participants reached an astonishing 2.6 million kroner, setting a new super record.

The collected funds go directly to children in Denmark who need an extra helping hand in life.

The foundation CoolUnite, founded by Jacob Risgaard, donates the money.

In front of Musikkens Hus

It will take place on Musikkens Plads, in front of Musikkens Hus in Aalborg, where for about an hour, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the many amazing supercars.

It’s always a huge experience to see the cars arrive and drive away as those supercars have some serious roar coming from their powerful engines.

The event is arranged for Saturday, June 3rd, at 09:30 if everything goes as planned.

“Aalborg is an important city for Cool Car Race. It’s kind of our home turf, and we’re excited to showcase the cars along the waterfront.

It’s a great experience to see so much horsepower roaring all at the same time, and it truly is unique to see so many supercars gathered in Denmark,” Jacob Risgaard says to MyAalborg.

This year, there are a lot of cars participating, and among them, you can witness the well-known businessman Mads Peter Veiby driving a Ferrari 296 GTB.

Cool Car Race 2023

• Starts on Friday, June 2nd at Ørnedalsbanen in Sæby at 12:00.

• Arrives at Palmestranden in Frederikshavn on Friday at 15:00.

• Musikkens Hus in Aalborg on Saturday, June 3rd at 9:30.

• Selected Car Leasing in Silkeborg on Saturday at 12:00.

The renowned Aarhus entrepreneur Younes Deaibes will be driving a Lamborghini Huracan.

Other cars registered for Cool Car Race include Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, BMW, and many more specially crafted, exquisite supercars.
