Aalborg Carnival kicks off earlier: Faustix to open with morning party
Carnival day will get off to a flying start this year—long before the parades reach Aalborg city centre.
For the first time ever, Aalborg Carnival will kick off with an extraordinary morning concert in Nørresundby, right by the parade’s starting point on the northern side of the Limfjord.
Behind the decks is Faustix, who will turn up the tempo from early morning and provide the soundtrack for the first hours of the carnival.
The concert is free and takes place from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM, giving participants a chance to warm up before the main celebration truly begins.
The morning concert serves as the official starting signal for the iconic journey across the Limfjord Bridge, where thousands of costumed carnival-goers, loud music, and colorful confetti traditionally transform the bridge into a moving party parade.
The atmosphere builds step by step as participants make their way from Nørresundby toward the city centre and the rest of the parade through town.
With this new morning concert, Aalborg Carnival adds another chapter to its program—bringing the carnival fever to the city earlier than ever before.
