Food and drinks for under 100 DKK: Friis Streetfood tempts with great lunch offers
Why settle for liver pate when you can take a culinary journey during your lunch break?
Luckily, the temptations are many in the city center when it’s lunchtime, and the dull packed lunch in the fridge isn’t exactly inviting.
One of the places we love to visit is Friis Streetfood, where the 12 food stalls offer delicious dishes – with something for every taste.
Now, they’re rolling out a new feature that doesn’t make the urge to visit any less appealing.
The food stalls at Friis Streetfood have introduced sharp lunchtime deals.
“We’re really excited about the reception that the people of Northern Jutland have given Friis Streetfood, and we constantly listen to the feedback we get from our guests.
Many have asked for lunch dishes with slightly smaller portions, and prices that stay really sharp. We’re happy to now offer this,” says Thomas Nedergaard Kristiansen, the manager of Friis Streetfood.
All the food stalls now offer sharp lunch deals from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with prices starting from just 57 DKK for a tasty lunch dish.
Here’s What You Can Get
We’ve, of course, already been by to test the concept, and there is – truly – something for every taste.
If you’re into indulgence, you can get fried chicken, burgers, or a tasty snack box from Berlin Döner with all the good stuff you’d wish for.
You can also get delicious bowls from either Mo’Rice or Ichibao, Uramaki sushi, open-faced sandwiches, Panang curry, or a delightful serving of gyros.
Even though the portions are slightly smaller in the lunch offer, the entire test panel from our office was full after a visit to Friis Streetfood on a holy Monday lunch break.
Food and Drinks for Under 100 DKK
Friis Streetfood is also known for having the city’s largest bar, where you can indulge in cocktails, wine, soda, and beer.
They’re also ready with a delicious new feature. From now on, you can buy a slightly smaller soda for 40 DKK.
“This means you can actually get a delicious lunch, including a cold soda, for around 100 DKK,” explains Thomas.

Ichibao – Bao & Ramen: Ichi Bowl with either crispy chicken, duck, or pork: 69 DKK.
Berlin Döner: Snack Box with crispy fries, schnitzel bites, chili cheese tops, mozzarella sticks, and nuggets: 65 DKK.
Din Burger Bar: Choice of burger from the menu: 64 DKK (79 DKK with fries and dip).
DL Fried Chicken: New York Lunch with two crispy chicken, salad, and 1 dip: 59 DKK.
El Santo: Picadillo with roasted potatoes, mozzarella, cheddar, and sour cream with either beef, chicken, or veggie: 65 DKK.
Smørhullet: All open-faced sandwiches: 69 DKK, and salad for 59 DKK.
Suzumi: Uramaki with either crispy ebi, chicken roll, spicy salmon, or California: 65 DKK.
Mo’Rice: Poke Bowl with either falafel, chicken, hot-smoked salmon, breaded shrimp, fish fillet, or crispy chicken: 57 DKK.
Thaiboden: Panang Curry with chicken, stirred coconut milk, bamboo shoots, bell pepper, and lime leaves: 69 DKK.
Kreta: Gyros Plate: Gyros, fries, salad, tzatziki, dressing: 69 DKK.
