For adults only: Helmuth hosts a massive Halloween Party in Aalborg

In the USA, it’s a huge deal.

In connection with Halloween, adults of all ages host their own Halloween parties where all guests put effort into their costumes. It can be scary, stylish, or even a bit risqué. Or a combination of all those elements.

In Denmark, Halloween has primarily been a children’s celebration. But one of Aalborg’s most popular restaurants and nightclubs aims to change that.

On Saturday, October 28th, Helmuth Bar & Kitchen will host a massive Halloween party they’re calling “Helmuth’s House of Horror.”

The beautiful venue will be completely transformed into a terrifying yet stylishly decorated Horror House.

Decorations by Jonas Jensen

Among others, Aalborg’s most talented floral designer, Jonas Jensen, is deeply involved in the decoration, and perhaps he’ll also show up in an incredible costume?

Earlier this month, Helmuth hosted a grand themed evening inspired by the 1920s. Now they’re diving into a big Halloween party, featuring delicious food, their famous cocktails, and a party that goes on late into the night.

“We’re going all in again and have therefore gathered several of the city’s talented contributors to create as comprehensive an event as possible,” Mathias Walther, owner of Helmuth Bar & Kitchen, says to MigogAalborg.

This time, it will be a spooky affair as they host a Halloween party for adults on Saturday, October 28th.

It’s been in the works for a while

He continues:

“After a completely sold-out 1920s-inspired event with Jonas Jensen at the beginning of September, with a lot of people on the waiting list, Helmuth is ready for another wild event.

We’re doing it again in collaboration with Jonas Jensen and several of the city’s business operators.

Jonas Jensen has once again agreed to decorate Helmuth, and at SallyMane, the salon will be transformed into a beauty box, where both the House Of Wellness team and SheLicous will do the hair and makeup for Helmuth’s staff, creating the perfect atmosphere for the evening.

It has been on the drawing board for several years to host a Halloween event, and we already sense that there is a huge interest in it,” Mathias Walther explains.

4 Courses and Drinks Galore

It will be a closed event for dining, with tickets available, and the setup will be as follows:

Arrival at 18:00 with welcome drinks, followed by Helmuth’s 4-course menu, including beer, water, and wine, as well as an ad libitum cocktail bar from 22:00 to 02:30.

“We will, of course, crown the best-dressed of the evening with amazing prizes,” Mathias Walther reveals.

At 22:30, the doors will open for other guests, and the party will continue with DJ Thode throughout the night.

On this day, guests will even have more time to party as the clocks are set back one hour from 3:00 AM to 2:00 AM.

For parents, it’s still possible to celebrate Halloween with the kids since Halloween officially falls on Tuesday, October 31st.

Right now, you can also win 2 tickets to the big Halloween party on MigogAalborg’s Facebook page.
