Free trip to the zoo: Join the annual Diversity Evening tonight

Are you new to North Denmark and would like to be part of something exciting?

Aalborg Zoo, Integration Council in Aalborg Municipality, and the International House North Denmark are hosting their annual Diversity Evening tonight in Aalborg Zoo.

The Diversity Evening gives you a great chance to meet like-minded internationals in Aalborg while being surrounded by different cultures and getting a free trip to the zoo.

Join the event for an exciting evening at Aalborg Zoo filled with entertainment, education, and exploration.

Program for the night

You can enter the Zoo from 17.00 and starting at 17:30, the Pachamama Band Trio will grace the Zoofari Stage with their performance, followed by a welcome speech from councilman Nuuradiin Hussein and mayor Lasse Frimand Jensen.

From 17:30 to 19:30, you can meet DGI with a Panna field on the lawn by Skovbakken. Meanwhile, at the education center, you will also have the chance to discover what a zookeeper does, learn about the zoo’s design, and get to know more about the well-being of the animals.

At 18:30, there will be a speaker event at the elephants’ enclosure, providing further insights into the world of these magnificent creatures. Don’t miss the thrilling polar bear feeding session at 19:00 either!

It is possible to buy food & beverages in the Zoo’s restaurants or you can BBQ your own food at the picnic areas, where BBQs are available for everyone to use.

As the night draws to a close, Aalborg Zoo will bid farewell at 20:30, thanking you for an evening of diversity and exploration.

The event is free of charge, so there is no need to buy a ticket or sign up beforehand.
