A global phenomenon: Frozen – The Musical comes to Aalborg

When snow settles over the stage and the notes of the mega-hit “Let It Go” fill the hall, Aalborghallen will be transformed into the magical kingdom of Arendelle.

From December 8 to 12, 2027, audiences can experience Frozen – The Musical when the acclaimed production visits Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center (AKKC) with six performances.

After a successful run in Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, where the show received numerous five- and six-star reviews, Frozen – The Musical will now tour Denmark. Fortunately, Aalborg will be one of the cities where audiences can experience the spectacular winter adventure live on stage.

That happens when Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven appear on stage in Aalborghallen at AKKC from December 8–12, 2027 with a total of six performances – and what better way could there be for the whole family to get into the Christmas spirit?

International-class musical adventure

Audiences and critics alike have been thrilled with the musical version of Disney’s huge success Frozen, which has been described as “musical theatre of absolute international top class.” The production features powerful vocal performances, lavish stage design, and a visual experience where magic, humor, and adventure go hand in hand.

On stage, audiences will meet the beloved characters Anna and Elsa who, together with Kristoff, the reindeer Sven, and the irresistible snowman Olaf, set out on an adventurous journey through snow-covered mountains and frozen landscapes.

A story about courage, sisterhood, and magic

The story takes the audience to the kingdom of Arendelle far in the north, where the sisters Anna and Elsa grow up. Elsa is born with magical powers that can spread snow and ice – powers she struggles to control. When her abilities suddenly plunge the entire kingdom into an eternal winter, the brave Anna must set out on a dangerous journey to find her sister and save Arendelle.

Along the way there is both excitement, humor, and heartfelt moments – not least when Olaf observes that “some people are worth melting for.”

Frozen – The Musical is a spectacular family experience for both children and adults. Audiences can look forward to hearing all the well-known songs from the film, naturally performed in Danish, including the iconic numbers “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”
