Get ready: The date has been found for Aalborg’s big Christmas market

A date has been decided for Aalborg’s biggest Christmas market, and there’s plenty to look forward to this year.

The Christmas market opens on November 18th at 12:00.

Aalborg City writes that the famous half-meter hotdog will be available again.

The 2021 record was 5 minutes and 42 seconds to eat that monster of a hotdog AND drink a liter of Mathilde Chocolate Milk, so if you need a challenge, try to beat that this year.

Besides Grill Hytten, who sells the hotdog, there will also be familiar appearances and exciting new stands.

Plenty to look forward to 

There will be five new stands we can look forward to visiting, which Aalborg City will continuously reveal.

Although they won’t reveal everything just yet, they say we can look forward to a stand with Christmas sweaters when Julesweaters.dk opens a big stand.

The student shop will sell Christmas trees and “Hos Linda”(By Linda) will be back with old-fashioned waffles, sweets, and other goodies.

The Ferris wheel and children’s carousel are back again this Christmas. We had to do without the carousel last year because of the big corona test center on Gammeltorv but fortunately, that’s not the case this year.

Aalborg City also announces the return of the famous Christmas train.
