Hidden treasures in the parking lot: IKEA invites once again to a giant flea market

On May 18, Aalborg locals can give their used items a new home and support a good cause at this flea market in front of IKEA Aalborg.

The flea market promises a day full of secondhand joy, where the whole family can hunt for hidden treasures.

The event takes place on Sunday, May 18, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the parking lot at IKEA Aalborg.

IKEA will provide a great atmosphere – and if you get hungry, the bistro and restaurant inside the store will be open as usual.

The aim of the flea market is to promote reuse and give old items and furniture new life – a theme echoed in IKEA’s Cirkulär area, where you can also find secondhand IKEA furniture or discounted display models.

All IKEA Family members can book a stand at the flea market, and spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

A spot costs 150 DKK, and all proceeds go directly to Raise for Kids in Aalborg. The organization will also have a presence at the event with a special activity, so there’s even more to look forward to.

What can you sell?

It’s up to you – but there are a few rules: You may sell anything you privately own, except weapons, chemicals, paint, food, drinks, counterfeit goods, or live animals.
