Grand opening: Scene11 opens with free concert and wine

We have revealed that the new leaseholder of Aalborg Theater’s café will be Anne Kønig, who already owns Café Peace.

She has named the café Scene11, where simple and flavorful food with good seasonal ingredients will be served in the spirit of social dining.

The opening date is Saturday, February 3, and now they have disclosed what will happen on the day.

In a press release, Aalborg Theater states that you can “experience Scene11’s newly decorated premises, taste some of the delights that Scene11 and their micro-bakery, Bagscenen, will offer in the future, enjoy a good glass of wine, and anticipate several musical surprises in the afternoon.”

Participation is free, and everyone is welcome.

Free concert with Sko og Torp

Music is also a part of the celebration, and the theater and Scene11 have enlisted some particularly popular musicians.

Singer Signe Olsen will entertain between 15:00 and 16:00, followed by jazz music. The day concludes with the well-known band Sko og Torp, who will wrap up a festive day with an outstanding concert on the Store Scene (the large stage) at 18:00.

Additionally, there is an opportunity to get a glimpse of both the Store and Lille Scene (the large and small staege), and especially to see Aalborg Theater’s new Forsamlingshus.
