For the fourth time: Guf & Kugler has once again been named Denmark’s best ice cream shop

This year’s best ice cream shop is once again found right here in North Jutland.

The competition ended today at 1:00 PM, and (once again… again… again… again) it resulted in a North Jutland victory.

OpdagDanmark is behind the competition, in which Guf & Kugler – with locations in both Nibe and Aalborg – took the title for the fourth time in total.

Third place went to Chokoladekurven in Thisted, while Vaffelhuset in Kerteminde claimed second place in the voting.

Jeppe Korsholm Mikkelsen took over ownership of Guf & Kugler on January 1, 2024, and is naturally very proud that the title of Denmark’s best ice cream shop has once again landed in North Jutland hands.

“It’s hard to believe that a huge dream has come true at such a young age. It really warms me to feel that we have so many great ambassadors cheering us on and helping spread the good word. A huge, huge thank you to everyone who voted for us,” Jeppe told MigogAalborg.

Opened a new large ice cream shop in Aalborg

Guf & Kugler has been a huge success in Aalborg, and in April they reopened in brand-new surroundings at Bispensgade 27, on the corner of Gravensgade and Bispensgade.

Here, the ice cream connoisseurs have even more space to spoil North Jutlanders with homemade cones, exquisite ice cream, and fantastic service.

“It means the world to receive recognition for the time, love, and quality we put into our ice cream, foam, and homemade cones, where we love geeking out with recipes and constantly developing new exciting products.

This award confirms that we are on the right track, and it only motivates us even more to go all in. I will carry every single vote with me moving forward,” Jeppe concludes.
