Magic in the cinema: Harry Potter returns to the big screen in Aalborg

Soon, you’ll be able to watch – or rewatch – some of the most popular films about wizardry and magic.
Of course, we’re talking about all eight Harry Potter film series movies.
Whether you know all the characters by name or you’re still a bit unsure who the villain is, there’s plenty of reason to visit Nordisk Film Biografer in City Syd and Kennedy Arkaden.
Each film will be shown over one weekend in the period from April 11 to May 31.
“Here, we’re screening all 8 Harry Potter films in chronological order, so both young and old, as well as loyal and new fans, can enjoy J.K. Rowling’s magical universe on the big screen.”
It has been more than 13 years since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 first hit the screen as the conclusion of the entire film series.
Since then, films from the same universe featuring Newt Scamander and various magical creatures have tried to keep the Harry Potter universe alive, but they never quite reached the same level of popularity.
Now, preparations are underway for a TV series based on the original books, making this the perfect time to watch all the films once again.
Tickets cost 95 DKK per film, and the movies will be shown in English with Danish subtitles.
Nordisk Film also encourages people to come dressed up, so the magical atmosphere can truly be felt.
