Heaps of Treasure: Join the Big Treasure Hunt this Winter Break
Winter break is just around the corner, which means a cozy time with family and friends.
If your days are not entirely booked then MyAalborg has some great ideas for you and the family.
In cooperation with Aalborg City, we are proud to announce once again the cities biggest Treasure Hunt. The adventure returns and runs over weeks 7 and 8.
The Big Treasure Hunt will run on five separate days over the winter break weeks. So there is a possibility to join and plenty of chances to win while spending quality time with family and friends.
Five days of Treasure Hunting
We can guarantee fun for all ages for a couple of hours while you hunt around Aalborg city center.
The Big Treasure Hunt runs on Thursday, February 17th, Friday, February 18th, Monday, February 21st, Wednesday, February 23rd, and Friday, February 25th.
One family ticket includes 2 adults and up to 3 children for only 50 kr.
But it’s not just for families, as there are many cool prizes and discounts to be won which would be great for adults too.
One adult ticket (over 16 years) costs 25 kr.
A lot of prizes and chances to win
There is a chest full of treasure all around Aalborg, so this means a lot of opportunities to test your luck on the big hunt.
So plan to set aside a good hour or two for laughs with friends and family while you search sound the city center.
The best news is that no two treasure hunts are alike.
Since each treasure hunt differs between days you can choose to participate more than once. All five days if you wish!
Participants must pass by 12 posts for each treasure hunt and answer a few questions at each to discover five letters.
Then you can use the five letters to create a word.
The treasure hunt is for kids and adults and most importantly is arranged to be fun for all.
The hunt starts and ends on Nytorv – in the heart of Aalborg.

As participants, you come out to the city center and solve a few tasks to have the opportunity to win many cool prizes from cooperating businesses and shops.

The arrangement runs over week 7 between 12-16 and week 8 between 10-14.
You do not need to arrive at a set time, but you need to finish the hunt in the timeframe as all the winners are announced at the end.
