Huge news: Danish Air Show returns to Aalborg

It was canceled two years in a row.
But now, the grand Danish Air Show is returning to Aalborg.
It will take place on Sunday, September 13, at Aalborg Air Base.
The Danish Air Show offers a day full of high-flying experiences, impressive demonstrations, and exciting activities both in the air and on the ground.
In short, it’s a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Air Force’s and the Armed Forces’ wide range of societal tasks, carried out every day in Denmark, the Realm, and globally.
Admission is free for everyone.
What you can experience
Visitors will have the chance to meet a broad selection of soldiers and staff from the Air Force and the rest of the Armed Forces. There will be pilots, aircraft mechanics, tank operators, combat divers, and many more, who will explain their roles and responsibilities.
At the same time, the public can get up close to much of the equipment essential for the soldiers’ operations—both in the air and on the ground.
“We are in a security-political situation that requires both modern technology and strong competencies. Danish Air Show 2026 is an opportunity to show the public how we work to protect Denmark in a changing world,” says Major General Jan Dam, head of the Air Command.
During the Danish Air Show, recruitment advisors will provide all interested visitors with insight into education paths and daily life in a modern defense force.
