This event is perfect for international students, families, and anyone new to the area, offering a warm welcome and plenty of helpful information.

Program for the day

A welcome from the mayor
The fair will kick off with a welcome speech by Aalborg’s Mayor, Lasse Frimand Jensen.

He’ll share how the city is committed to making everyone feel at home.

Help from the International House North Denmark
Next, the International House North Denmark (IHND) will give a presentation titled “Welcome to Denmark, Meet Your New Best Friend, IHND.”

They’ll provide tips on how to settle in and introduce you to the resources available to help you adjust to life here.

Starting your new life in Denmark
There will also be a panel discussion on “Starting Your New Life in Denmark.”

This is a chance to hear from local experts and residents about what it’s like to live in Denmark.

They’ll share their experiences and advice on everything from understanding local customs to finding essential services.

Meet local organizations
At the fair, you’ll also have the chance to meet representatives from local authorities, organizations, and NGOs.

They’ll be there to answer your questions and help you find the information you need.

Fun activities for everyone
The fair isn’t just about information; it’s also about having fun.

There will be free ice cream and cake, and kids can enjoy balloon animals.

Plus, don’t miss the “Living Library,” where you can talk to someone who has already made the move to Denmark and learn from their experiences.
