Keep your distance: Downtown facade at risk of collapsing
A historic building in the heart of the city has now been cordoned off by the police.
If you’ve passed the corner of Hasserisgade and Vesterbro, you may have noticed the facade looking somewhat damaged.
Last Friday, bricks suddenly started falling from the building’s facade.
This is reported by TV2 Nord.
The incident took place at the premises of Min Afsked (My Farewell), and the owners were quickly contacted:
“I received a call yesterday afternoon (Friday) and was told I had to rush over because my facade had collapsed.
They were afraid people would be killed, and the police were called – so it turned into quite a big drama,” Else Mikkelsen, founder and funeral director at Min Afsked, says to TV2 Nord.
The police acted quickly to seal off the area to ensure no one gets hurt.
