Many won’t be ready in time: This is how Aalborg’s restaurants will reopen

It was wonderful news when the government and parliamentary parties revealed that cafés, restaurants, and other eateries would soon be allowed to open for indoor service again.
From tomorrow, April 21, we are officially allowed to dine indoors, as long as the time and table are booked in advance and that all participants have a valid Corona-passport.
The restaurants will also need to conform to minimum space regulations to be able to open completely.
Even though this is really great news for the hard-hit restaurant industry, which has been under forced closure since December, the sudden change of reopening dates has messed up the plans of many dining destinations.
For example, Mortens Kro has just started renovating five new toilets with various materials first being sent from Italy next week, and have employed new staff to start May 1. They’re working as fast as they can, but may not be able to open before the otherwise planned date of May 6. Keep an eye on their Facebook site for updates though.
Others can reopen a little earlier
Some aren’t quite ready to open on Wednesday but will be ready to open from Friday, April 23, or later.
Though one thing is certain across the board – everyone is very happy to be able to see their guests again soon.
We have been through many restaurants’ social media feeds to work out who is able to open when and have used that information to put together this overview.
If your restaurant is reopening soon but isn’t on the list, then please send an email to info@migogaalborg.dk
