Massive hit parade: Take That performs exclusive concert in Aalborg
Back For Good, Patience, How Deep Is Your Love, Pray, The Flood … and many, MANY more.
Take That is one of the most successful boybands ever, and on Thursday, June 27, you have an exclusive opportunity to experience them – right here in Aalborg.
The iconic Skovdalen sets the stage for the concert, accommodating only 5,000 guests, ensuring both an intimate and special experience for the audience – and the boyband, which is used to playing in huge arenas worldwide.
The weather will be absolutely perfect for an outdoor concert, as the weather gods promise full sun, dry conditions, and temperatures up to 27 degrees.
In July last year, Take That played at Hindsgavl Castle, and it was a huge success with 10,000 enthusiastic people and a thoroughly accomplished concert.
The first and only time Take That previously visited Aalborg was back in the fall of 2007, when they played two fantastic concerts at Gigantium.
Rising star opens
Take That is not coming to Aalborg alone.
As a warm-up, Aalborg residents can experience the young rising star Alfie Castley, who has more than 50 million streams and 600,000 followers on social media.
His debut single ‘Teenage Mona Lisa’ from 2021 is still a massive global hit, and with releases like ‘Cardiac Arrest’ and ‘Heaven’s Got a Place (Someone New),’ Castley is truly making a mark as a pop artist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer.
Now the pop talent hits Skovdalen on Thursday, kicking off the evening before Take That.
Still going strong
Since the 1990s, the iconic boyband Take That has left an indelible mark on pop music and stolen thousands of hearts worldwide with their powerful vocals and many hits.
Take That was one of the first modern boybands from the UK, storming all the charts and taking the world by storm with their grand pop, emotional ballads.
The captivating melodies and deep lyrical content have resulted in a long list of international hits such as ‘Back For Good,’ ‘Patience,’ ‘How Deep Is Your Love,’ ‘Pray,’ and ‘The Flood,’ and with over 45 million albums sold worldwide, Take That has established itself as one of the biggest pop groups from the 90s and 00s.
Over the years, the boyband has dissolved and reformed in various configurations, but when Take That takes the stage at Skovdalen this week, it will be in its current form as a trio with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald, now back with their new release This Life.
