The police in North Jutland is searching for the 22-year-old woman Mia Skadhauge Stevn.

She disappeared after a night out in Jomfru Ane Gade in Aalborg during the night of 5 and 6 February 2022, and her family is very worried about her.

“That is why we’re notifying her as missing with photos in the public,” deputy assistant commissioner Frank Olsen says. He encourages anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the police right away.

“Call us at 114 right away,” Frank Olsen says.

Mia Skadhauge Stevn separated from her friends during the night between Saturday and Sunday after having gone out in Jomfru Ane Gade and her relatives have not been in contact with her since.

Around 06:02 in the morning, Mia left Jomfru Ane Gade via the street Ved Stranden and headed west towards Vesterbro.

The North Jutland Police has started comprehensive investigative work to determine where Mia went.

This means that the police has been gathering surveillance videos, questioned people, and also used a dog patrol to search Jomfru Ane Gade.

Mia lives on Hadsundvej ni Vejgaard in Aalborg.

Two young people reported missing

Mia is not the only young person who has been reported missing this week. 21-year-old Oliver has also disappeared after a night out. Read more here.

TV2 NORD has spoken to the police who says that it’s probably a coincidence that both Oliver Ibæk Lund and Mia Skadhauge Stevn have been reported missing this weekend.

“It’s luckily not often that we get two missing people reports in such short span of time, and we are not closing out any possibilities.

But right now there is nothing that suggests that the two cases are related,” Kenneth Rodam, commissioner at North Jutland Police, says to TV2 NORD.
