Find other ways: Major motorway bridge will be closed for a month

Many North Jutlanders are enjoying a well-deserved Easter holiday these days.
For most people, the holiday ends on Tuesday – and that day also marks the start of a major roadwork project on the E45.
The work involves replacing joints and bearings on the Nørresundby ramp – the motorway bridge on the E45 that commuters use to drive into Nørresundby in Aalborg.
The work is necessary because the current joints and bearings are worn out and need to be replaced to ensure the bridge’s longevity.
The maintenance work will begin on Tuesday, April 22, and is expected to last about a month.
According to the Road Directorate, the task should be completed by Monday, May 19. However, due to weather conditions, delays may occur.
Exit 22 towards Nørresundby C will be closed for the entire period. Drivers heading north will be diverted via exit 21 Nørresundby.
The Road Directorate apologizes in advance for any inconvenience the work may cause to motorists.
