Sometimes the best way to learn is by making mistakes.

At least that’s the thought behind FuckUp Nights – taking place on the March 24th at 16:30 at AAU CREATE.

The concept of FuckUp Nights is simple: There are three experienced speakers who, in a light-hearted way, recount a time they ‘fucked up’.

“By shar[ing] their experiences [they] encourage others to fail,” Andrej Kutliak, the Project manager team lead at Kickstart Aalborg, says.

“We would like to show that failure is fun and something to learn from and to encourage people to not be afraid and take some risks,” Kutliak explains.

Although the concept FuckUp Nights is a global movement, they are no strangers to Aalborg. This edition of FuckUp Nights will be the 10th time it happens in the Paris of the North.

This time around, you can look forward to Torsten Kolind, one of the founders of a startup evaluation platform YouNoodle; Özkan B. Köksal, the chief advisor for international commercialization at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Lasse Frimand Jensen, an Aalborg City Council member who is also the Chairman of DANVA.

Later in the evening, the audience will also have the chance to share some of their own ‘fuck ups’ and to grab a drink at the Friday bar and network with the speakers and each other.

The entrance fee is 50 kr and you have to sign up here.
