Wine & stone oven pizza: Aalborg’s new café invites you for pizza & drinks for just 129 DKK

We previously wrote about Teatercaféen offering all-you-can-eat brunch and bubbly throughout April for just 199 DKK.
But that’s not the only thing on the menu at Aalborg Teater’s new café this month.
April is a quieter month at the theater, so Thilde and Thomas Nedergaard Kristiansen, the duo behind Teatercaféen, have decided to open the space for some extra weekend coziness.
That means that, in addition to brunch, they’re also offering stone oven pizza with a draft beer, soda, or a glass of wine for just 129 DKK every Friday and Saturday in April.
“We’ve put a lot of effort into creating simple yet delicious stone oven pizzas. Pizza is always a hit on Fridays and Saturdays, so we wanted to treat our guests with a great deal,” says Thomas Nedergaard Kristiansen.

Six different stone oven pizzas
Teatercaféen offers six different pizzas, each with a name that clearly describes what you can expect from the pizza.
You will find “The Spicy One” with a spicy Salame Ventricina, “The Italian” with Gran Reserva ham and arugula, “The Potato Dream” with potato, mascarpone, and rosemary, “The Classic” with cheese and fresh basil, “The Simple One” with buffalo mozzarella, basil, and fresh tomatoes, and last but not least, “The Gourmet Pizza” with four different types of cheese.
The pizza nights give you the opportunity to come into the “new” space and have a cozy experience, even when there are no performances at the theater.
“You don’t have to be fancy to come here, but you can still feel that people treat themselves a little extra when visiting the theater,” says Thilde Nedergaard Kristiansen.
That’s why they have also made sure that you get something delicious to drink included in the price when you order a pizza on one of the days in April.
Here, you can choose from everything from lemonade and soda to draft beer or a glass of wine.
This fantastic set is available for only 129 DKK every Friday and Saturday throughout April.

A Lot of New Things for the Fall
Teatercaféen opened in February, and since then, the pace has been high:
“It has been hectic but exciting. It has gone so well, and we have built such a fantastic team down here. Everyone has just gone all in on starting something new,” says Thilde Nedergaard Kristiansen.
So far, the team has only planned the café’s program until summer. After that, they would really like to get guest input on what they would like to experience in the space.
“We are thinking of creating some special events. Something that fits the venue – maybe a wine tasting or a jazz night. So many possibilities. We already have a whole idea bank,” explains Thomas Nedergaard Kristiansen.
