New route: Fly directly to Spanish vacation paradise from Aalborg

Starting from October 31, Norwegian will fly directly from Aalborg Airport to the volcanic holiday island of Tenerife.
This strengthens the winter program from Aalborg even further, this time with a direct route to the popular Canary Islands.
The new direct route to Tenerife with Norwegian will be operated once a week on Tuesdays until the end of the winter season in March 2024.
This was announced by Aalborg Airport in a press release.
“With yet another new Norwegian route from Aalborg Airport, our customers will have direct access to sunny Tenerife during the cold and wet Danish winter months.
Tenerife is one of our most popular destinations in the network, so we are happy to offer our North Jutland customers the opportunity to travel directly to the Spanish warmth with Norwegian,” Magnus Thome Maursund, Commercial Director at Norwegian, says.
More winter news from Aalborg Airport
Back in February, Bravo Tours announced charter news for La Palma, and with Norwegian’s new route to Tenerife, we are heading towards an even stronger winter season.
“We are pleased with the news and the cooperation with Norwegian, which this year has also resulted in the summer news of Barcelona and Alicante and now the winter news of Tenerife.
There is even greater potential in the charter and route offerings from Aalborg in the winter season, which is why we continue to work to attract new destinations for our travel-hungry guests,” airport director Niels Hemmingsen explains.
Tenerife is sunny year-round and is unique in that it is bone dry in the south and lush in the north with green forests, flowering valleys, and numerous banana plantations.
The island’s northern coast is characterized by lush mountain ridges and low-hanging clouds. On Tenerife, you will also find the Teide volcano, which at 3,718 meters is Spain’s highest mountain and Tenerife’s biggest attraction.
Tickets for the new route between Aalborg and Tenerife are now available for sale on www.norwegian.com/dk, with prices starting from 899 Danish kroner.
