Ready for an adventure?: New route from Aalborg takes flight

Not long to go now.

On June 12, the first departure on the new route from Aalborg Airport to Nuuk, Greenland, takes off.

“This means that starting next week and until September 1, you can fly directly to Greenland twice a week,” writes Aalborg Airport on Facebook.

Nuuk’s international airport opened in November last year, and now it’s possible to travel from Aalborg to Greenland in just 4 hours and 50 minutes with Air Greenland.

The flight departs every Monday and Thursday, giving you plenty of opportunity for an Arctic adventure—perhaps catching the midnight sun dancing over the icebergs while the sled dogs howl in the distance.
