New shop in the city center: New sportswear brand opens store in Aalborg

25-year-old Sebastian Bloksgaard just opened the doors to Aalborg’s newest store.

Located at Gravensgade 5, he has founded the running apparel brand Toujours Actif, aimed at everyday male runners who aren’t chasing speed or distance records.

At Toujours Actif, the community built around running together is at the heart of the concept — and it’s not just about the clothes.

Weekly running events will be a major part of the store’s community, and the very first run on May 16 is already fully booked.

Building a Community

Sebastian Bloksgaard is committed to making the store more than just a place to shop.

It’s set to be a hub for a running community, where people will gather twice a week — on Tuesdays and Saturdays — to go for a jog and get moving.

Each run will end with a cozy gathering featuring local restaurants, cafés, and other partners from around the city.

“I want to create a community where everyday runners feel at home. I’m trying to do something different than what the industry is offering right now — and I hope the people of Aalborg will join me,” he previously told us.

On the store’s website, you can already check out what’s planned for the rest of the month.

Among other things, there are running events lined up in collaboration with Guf & Kugler and An-Di.
