Open to all: Who is Aalborg’s best at karaoke?

Finally, you can bring out your inner Britney Spears, Adele, Justin Bieber or Rasmus Seebach to an enthusiastic audience – with the chance to win great prizes.

This year, the Aalborg Karaoke Championship returns bigger than ever.

Preliminary rounds are on Saturday, April 15th, and Friday, September 8th and the grand final is on October 20.

“The interest in the Aalborg Karaoke Championship keeps growing and growing, and we are looking forward to welcoming many aspiring singers on stage again.

The song you select must be available on YouTube.

The “Aalborg Karaoke Championship 2023” winner will be determined through audience voting and a panel of judges at the grand finale on October 20th.

Johnny Hurup will host the event, and there will be plenty of amazing prizes up for grabs.

If you make it all the way, you’ll be competing for a grand prize that includes a gourmet weekend stay for two at Hotel Amerika in Hobro, a studio recording at Lydstudio (SoundStudio), and a large trophy sponsored by the jeweler ‘Torvets smykker og ure’ – Vejgaard Torv.

There will also be a ‘lottery’ for the audience where you can win everything from gift cards, dinners, shots, craft beers, full bottles, concert tickets, cocktails, and much more.
