Person hit by truck: Central intersection is closed after serious traffic accident

Around 9 o’clock this morning, the North Jutland Police wrote that there’s been a serious traffic accident centrally in Aalborg.

The accident happened by the intersection on Østerbro/Karolinelundsvej.

Police and rescue are on the scene, and the intersection is right now closed off.

Superintendent Jesper Søren has informed Nordjyske that a pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a truck when she was walking across the pedestrian crossing.

She’s been transported to the hospital with a police escort.
