Popular harvest market returns: Family fun and special guests in Aalborg
It has become something of a tradition for Råt&Godt to invite Aalborg residents to its annual harvest market.
And this year is no exception.
On Saturday, August 22, from 10 am to 3 pm, the doors will open once again, with both the indoor and outdoor areas filled with activities and a lively market atmosphere.
Families can explore creative stalls and charity organisations, take part in activities and enjoy food and drinks in the relaxed surroundings.
For children, there will be a large play area packed with activities among the hay bales.
Special guests this year
One of the day’s more unusual highlights will be a visit from pet pigs Bjarne and Flemming.
The two pigs are used to being around people and regularly bring joy to others, including through visits to care homes.
At the harvest market, both children and adults will have the chance to meet the four-legged guests.
There will also be a raffle with a wide range of prizes, activities for children in the large outdoor play area and plenty of market atmosphere both inside and outside.
As always, the young people involved with Råt&Godt will also play an active role during the day, including helping to sell food and drinks.
The event is therefore set to focus on community, creativity and a relaxed market atmosphere.
Råt&Godt supports young people facing challenges
The harvest market is organised by Råt&Godt, a socially responsible company based in Aalborg.
The organisation works to give both people and materials a second chance, including through education and employment programmes in a practical environment with workshops, production facilities and a focus on recycled and leftover materials.
