Quality coffee and delicious baked goods: New café has opened in Aalborg

by Megan McPhee Christensen

If you’ve taken a walk through Magasin lately then you may have noticed Aalborg’s brand new café.

It’s called Cozy & More and has taken over the location of Coffee Ten, which recently went bankrupt.

Cozy & More is a relatively new concept, but they are gaining momentum quickly having opened eight cafes around the country in just a short time.

The best coffee beans and quality baked goods

“Our concept is built on the fact that all of our products are made in Denmark, primarily in the Copenhagen area.

We source the best quality – from the coffee, which comes from Copenhagen Coffee Lab, to the juice from Gro, and our baked goods, that are produced by a well-known baker in Copenhagen that only uses organic ingredients”, country manager Nikolaj Juul says to MyAalborg.

The warm drinks on offer include everything from Espresso (20 kr) to Americano (25 kr), Cortado (30 kr) to Cappucino (30 kr), Cafe Latte (30 kr) to Flat White (30 kr), Tea (25 kr), and of course, Hot Chocolate (35 kr).

If you’re more the cold drink type then you can get a Cozy Shake with strawberry, blueberry, banana, and vanilla milk for just 40 kr, or choose from their wide selection of sparkling waters, sodas, and popular Gro-juices.

They also make their own fresh-pressed fruit and vegetable juices as well as various energy shots.

Space for Aalborg’s students to get cozy

If you’re looking for a bite to eat, Cozy & More also has something for you.

There is everything from croissants, rye buns, and other baked goods to sandwiches (chicken, tuna, or veggie), and toast available.

“We want to create a relaxed vibe where there is space for people to hang out and have fun together. We also hope that many of the town’s students will pop by – that’s why we’re offering a 20% student discount on all our coffees and our cozy shake”, Nikolaj says.

Cozy & More has taken over eight of Coffee Tens locations around Denmark.

“We are definitely not finished opening new cafés in Denmark just yet. There will be many new and exciting things happening in 2022,” Nikolaj promises, though he’s not revealing whether they have more locations planned to open in Aalborg yet.
