Repeat the success: Cozy flea market returns to Vestbyen
One of the city’s best flea markets ran out of business in April. But change is always upon us.
The success of the Spring event earlier this year is set to repeat when Schleppegrellsgade will once more transform into a flea market paradise.
The market returns Sunday, September 3rd. And there is an excellent reason to put this on your calendar.

Experiencing Vestbyen’s most pleasant streets transformed into a treasure hunt is a great way to kick off the new season.
As Summer turns into Fall, the locals will sell set forth change on the day. New and old items will transition out and into the hands of the new owner and home—a new place where the treasures can be cherished and used.
Approx. 20 to 25 of the houses on the street will have stalls set up in front of their houses for you to explore from 10:00 to 15:00.
“Some houses invited friends and family, so you can expect new and more treasures to explore and discover!
You can also indulge your taste buds along the way. Try refreshing slush ice, enjoy the scent of freshly brewed coffee, and sample some delicious cake to go with it,” says the organisers.
Then it’s just a matter of putting a cross in the calendar and taking your best flea market hunter and trained eyes hand-in-hand as you stroll through Schleppegrellsgade.
“Who knows what you’ll find? Perhaps a hidden treasure is waiting to be discovered!” the organizers further.
You can read more about it here.
If you can’t make this one, the bagagerum (Storage) market will return this year. So stay tuned.
