Roast pig and sangria: SMAEK is hosting a giant summer event on the terrace

It’s no secret that many of us wish we were vacationing down south – especially now that there’s an abundance of rain.

But there is hope!

SMAEK has sent an official invitation for the Spanish sun to join their giant pig roast on the terrace. 

The big pig roasting event will happen twice in July.  

The first event will be held Saturday, July 2nd, and the second takes place on Saturday, July 16th.  

Like in previous years, the pig roast is a lunch arrangement that is opened for two seatings.

Sharp drink prices 

The event starts at 11:00 and runs until 16:00, where you can enjoy an ”all-you-can-eat” slow-cooked roasted pig, delicious green and pasta salads, and of course, scalloped potatoes.

In addition, there will be great offers on several drinks. – such as chilled rosé for 200 kroner per bottle, 1.5L  draft beer for 150 kroner, and a sangria pitcher for 250 kr.

”We will prepare a sizeable buffet-style table in the restaurant next to our chefs, who will cut and serve the pork to all guests right from the rotisserie. 

To complement the delicious pork roast, we made sure to offer excellent drinks, such as sangria, rosé and draft beer, at a great price,” Mads Hyllested, co-owner of SMAEK, says.

All-You-Can-Eat in two hours

The pig roast events run throughout lunch and afternoon. So you can participate in one of two seating times from 11:30 to 16:00. In this case, you can decide on an early or late lunch. 

Each seating is two hours and prior experience indicates that this is plenty of time to eat and drink until you are content.

There are two seating times for hours per seat.
First seating time: 11:30-13:30
Second seating time: 14:00-16:00   

The price is 225 kroner for the biggest all-you-can-eat pork rotisserie event.

Afterwards, you can go home for a well-deserved siesta!
