More room to work magic: Popular sandwich bar opening shop in the city center

Love for good food, Hip-Hop, and handmade sandwiches brings FrAAderen to Aalborg’s city center
The passion for quality food, hip-hop, and handmade sandwiches has already made FrAAderen on Kastetvej a local favorite in Aalborg.
Now, they’re taking the next step.
Starting July 1st, you can find them right in the heart of the city—specifically at Danmarksgade 27A, the former home of Meiccas.
New Location, New Opportunities
The new spot comes with more space and a much larger kitchen. This opens up even more possibilities for FrAAderen, especially in the area of takeaway and catering—without compromising what made them popular in the first place.
That means you can still get everything you already love from FrAAderen’s menu… plus a bit more.
“We’re incredibly excited. The new location gives us more possibilities and, most importantly, we can make even more great food,” says co-owner Lars Krogh Jensen, who will now run 2x FrAAderen together with Rikke Martine Bruun Meyer.
More Focus on Catering
With catering in focus, FrAAderen is offering both fixed menus and tailor-made options. Their mission is clear: whether it’s for a lunch plan, corporate event, or private party, the food must be packed with personality and quality.
To support this, they’ve expanded their team. Arek Pilegaard Jensen is the new guy in the kitchen—bringing solid experience from places like Madklubben and Blokhus Badehotel. He’ll be mainly responsible for the catering segment.
“I missed more normal working hours and a place with good vibes and good people. I’ve found that here,” says Arek.
Same Vibe, New Space
Even though FrAAderen is adding a second address, nothing has changed about their identity: You’ll still find LPs on the walls, graffiti art, hip-hop pumping from the speakers, and a street food menu full of flavor—just like you know it.
Opening hours remain the same as on Kastetvej:
Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00–20:00.
