The next emergency message will be issued at 9:00.
Cause of fire to be investigated
In a press release sent at 10:04, Deputy Police Inspector Søren Pejtersen stated:
“We are working with the hypothesis that the fire may have been deliberately set, but this will be determined by further fire technical investigations.
The report of the fire was received by the emergency center around 21:30 Sunday evening.
If anyone has observed anything in the area during that time that may be of interest to the police, we would very much like to hear from them on phone number 114.
We, along with Nordjyllands Beredskab, will remain at Løvvangskolen for many more hours.”
