ISS has just named its Employee of the Year with the “Apple of the Year” award in the Danish part of the business.
Out of 6,000 employees, the choice fell on John Bosco Adora, who works as a service employee for ISS at Aalborg Airport.
ISS Denmark shared this in a press release.

Great Job Satisfaction
John Bosco Adora always has a big smile, and it’s only gotten bigger since he received the “Apple of the Year” award on Tuesday.
“I’m so proud and happy. It means everything to me to get the ‘Apple of the Year’,” says John, explaining what motivates him to go the extra mile every day:
“I’m simply so happy with my work. It’s both the tasks and the people. Everything,” says John.

Gets Cash Prize and Nominated for Global Award
It’s colleagues and customers who can nominate an ISS employee each month for “Employee of the Month”. The criterion for nomination is that the employee has provided extraordinary service and made a difference.
Each year, “Apple of the Year” is chosen from the monthly winners. The recognition as “Apple of the Year” comes with a cash prize of DKK 25,000, tax-free, and a nomination for ISS’ global employee of the year award, which is given to one of the company’s 325,000 employees worldwide.
The award will be presented at ISS’ global leadership conference in May.
