Starts in September: Join the new Spouse Space course
Have you heard about the Spouse Space program at the International House North Denmark (IHND)?
Spouse Space is an initiative oriented towards expats’ spouses and partners.
At IHND, they host various events each year, where participants are invited to contribute to determining the meeting topics.
Some of the topics are:
- Creating relationships between spouses and partners
- Helping with job search
- Helping spouses and partners integrate in North Denmark
- Introducing spouses and partners to networking opportunities, and helping each other with their daily challenges
A new course will begin on September 18th and last until mid-December with five planned events.
What former spouses and partners say about the program
INHD has gathered some testimonials from previous participants in the Spouse Space program. They illustrate first-hand their experiences participating in the program.
“As I came to Denmark, I was full of questions and confusion to find the best way to follow my career goals.
It was a great chance to get to know the International House team, and especially Pernille. She guides and supports me with patience.
She gives me very useful information in preparing my CV, cover letter and approaching different employers. I am very thankful for all of it.”
Yeganeh Mafi, Participant of the Spouse Space programme at International House North Denmark.
“Spouse Space helped me to build my CV and helped me to be more efficient with my job research, and just a few days after my first appointment there I had a job interview.
Now I am working for a Danish company, and the job is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much to Spouse Space and to the people that are running this program!”
Baptiste Houzet, Participant of the Spouse Space programme at International House North Denmark.
“I think I am a very lucky person because I came across the International House and got acquainted with tons of like-minded young people through their events.
During the past year, everyone whom I met inspired me and believed in me with their whole heart.
I am very grateful to Spouse Space for creating a very friendly and supportive environment that helped me to focus on finding a job, develop my LinkedIn profile/CV, learn how to write application letters and as a result, find my dream job.
I wish that more people in Aalborg knew about the International House North Denmark and how it changes a person’s life for the better. Keep dreaming about your ideal job in Denmark and it will come!”
