If you’re not in the Halloween spirit yet, you definitely will be once you step into the Zoo.

Two frightfully exciting new features are on the program this year — sure to be big hits during the break:

Aalborg Zoo is opening a brand-new, giant Halloween play area in the former elephant enclosure, packed with fun activities, competitions, and tons of play — from monster toss and ghost bowling to a massive hay bale maze!

Buster’s World at AKKC

As tradition dictates, AKKC welcomes yet another popular family performance from MCH Herning Kongrescenter, whose family shows at AKKC have always been sold out.

This year, they are ready with a family show that combines children’s imagination with parents’ and grandparents’ ’80s nostalgia: namely Busters Verden.

Previously, AKKC has drawn full houses with performances such as Pippi Longstocking, Folk and Robbers in Cardamom Town, Otto is a Rhinoceros, and most recently Emil of Lönneberga.

Now it’s time for a reunion with the magician Buster. AKKC promises an experience that both evokes memories and creates new ones.

Busters Verden is packed with music, humor, and warmth, as the story of Buster unfolds vividly and movingly on stage. The audience can look forward to Nanna Lüders’ iconic Buster song as well as new music by conductor Rasmus Steenberg, giving the story a magical touch. It will be an autumn holiday filled with imagination, magic, and unforgettable moments.”

This is how AKKC describes this year’s big family show.
