The comedy Store and Drivhuset: A perfect blend of comedy and cuisine
The three international comedians Nick Page, Garrett Millerick, and Archie Maddocks, along with host Abby Wambaugh, will take the stage at Aalborg Congress & Culture Center’s (AKKC’s) Drivhuset on Saturday, February 8th.
The Comedy Store x Drivhuset has become a staple of AKKC’s annual Drivhus program, and on Saturday, February 8th at 6 PM, an evening of great comedy featuring three new international comedians will be paired with a delicious menu from Restaurant AKKC by MEST.
This time, the comedians Nick Page, Garrett Millerick, and Archie Maddocks will take the stage in Drivhuset, alongside the award-winning American and Copenhagen-based comedian Abby Wambaugh, who will host The Comedy Store.
As always at Drivhuset, guests can start the evening with a cozy board game lounge from 4 PM.
Restaurant AKKC by MEST will serve mashed potatoes with minced pork/mushroom patty with soft onions, along with homemade pickled beets on the side for dinner. At 7:30 PM, the international comedians will hit the stage.
English comedy at its best
The famous international stand-up concept The Comedy Store is taking place in Aalborg, the only other location besides Bremen Theatre in Copenhagen, and is the result of a collaboration between Live Nation and AKKC.
The Comedy Store is described as the birthplace of alternative comedy in the UK and has been a springboard and launchpad for the careers of countless stand-up stars, such as Michael McIntyre, Eddie Izzard, and Jimmy Carr.
On Saturday, February 8th, Nick Page, Garrett Millerick, and Archie Maddocks will be serving up the great comedy.
The British comedian Nick Page is known for his incredible yet true stories about life on the edge of chaos. His shows are packed with jokes from start to finish – no props, no songs, just raw humor.
As the winner of English Comedian of the Year, he has performed on three continents and reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
Garrett Millerick is an acclaimed comedian, writer, and director, who recently performed on the popular American talk show Conan. He is also the co-host of the successful podcast Laughable, alongside Jayde Adams and Red Richardson, which was selected by The Guardian as one of the funniest podcasts during the pandemic.
Author and comedian Archie Maddocks has been featured in The Voice Newspaper as “Ones to Watch in 2025”. He was a finalist in the New Acts of the Year and English Comedian of the Year 2014, winner of Bath New Act of the Year, and a former participant in the Soho Rising Festival.
