The Comedy Store x Drivhuset: Three top-class comedians on the lineup
The Comedy Store x Drivhuset is the recipe for the perfect Sunday, where the audience can embrace their Sunday habits, enjoy good (hangover) food, and swap Netflix for live, international comedy – all for one inclusive price.
The collaboration between Live Nation and AKKC took place for the first time in November 2023, and now the second edition of the collaboration is ready to showcase three new comedians.
On Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 18:00, the audience can once again take a break from everyday life and spice up their Sunday with comedians Michael Akadiri, Lara Ricote, and Dinesh Nathan.
The American comedian Abby Wambaugh hosted the premiere day, and she happily takes on that role again in February.
On stage
Michael Akadiri is a rapidly rising, award-winning comedian and future doctor.
He won The Komedia New Comedian Of The Year Award in 2020 and reached the final in London at the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2021.
His natural charm and cheeky, observation-based style have made a significant impact on the British comedy scene, and he performs at major comedy clubs in the UK, including Comedy Store, Glee Club, and Up The Creek.
Michael Akadiri can be seen in the latest season of The Stand Up Sketch Show.
The 27-year-old comedian, Lara Ricote, is equally Mexican, American, and Venezuelan – and just as confused about it as everyone else.
She is an engaging storyteller based in Amsterdam, involved in stand-up, sketches, and news programs.
Additionally, she teaches stand-up comedy. Despite nobody asking her to, she also dabbles in improvisation.
After winning several gong shows, Dinesh Nathan was named Comedian Of The Year on the South Coast and was a finalist in the Komedia New Act competition, as well as the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition.
When Dinesh Nathan takes the stand-up stage, it’s with a high energy level and a sarcastic, self-deprecating perspective – he is a crowd-pleaser without trying too hard to please.
Once again, the host for the evening is the American comedian, writer, and improviser Abby Wambaugh.
She performs and regularly hosts various stand-up shows in both Copenhagen and the United Kingdom.
In 2022, she opened for Sofie Hagen’s Denmark tour. Additionally, she co-hosts the podcast ‘Coping in Copenhagen,’ one of the most popular podcasts about life in Denmark.
